Supporting legacy and modern authentication protocols, including FIDO passkeys, FortiAuthenticator employs context-aware, adaptive authentication to grant, challenge, or deny access based on login criteria. Acting as a gatekeeper, it identifies users, queries third-party access permissions, and communicates identity-based policies to FortiGate devices, securing enterprise networks with precision and ease.
